Site Specific Compliance
 


Problem:
  A major petrochemical company provided their sites with a series of generic EHS compliance training programs. However, since they did not address any site-specific requirements, separate training programs had to be created by each site to cover their site-specific elements.   Operators were required to take both programs, often resulting in unnecessary topics being included, or worse, contradictory information between the two programs.
     
Solution:
  RDC implemented an Active Learner Learning Center with integrated learning to solve this issue. 

Integrated learning with ePILOT's EHS Mandated learning modules preserved the corporate Best Practice nature of compliance while eliminating the need to access multiple programs for a single subject. More importantly, it guaranteed that only the specific content relevant to the learners site and job was covered with no contradictory information being presented.

As an added bonus, the learning center integrated with their corporate ERP / LMS environment to permanently document learners' proficiency.

 
Benefit:
  The client was able to implement a "Best Practice" standard across their entire enterprise for dealing with compliance mandates, meeting both the corporate and site-specific requirements.
